0.5 mm Fiber Optic Faceplates
Replacing the standard 0.5 mm glass cover with a 0.5 mm fiber optic faceplate enables eMagin microdisplays to produce an image at the topmost surface of the microdisplay component. Developers can now incorporate eMagin's highly power-efficient, compact OLED microdisplays into optics systems that must attach directly to the image plane. Because our fiber optic faceplates have no effect on color, they will not compromise the high-resolution and high-contrast colors of the eMagin microdisplay or the overall system performance.
